Mr. King obtained a judgment for $1,085,000 in a disputed matter over
whether there existed an agreement between long-time family friends. The
defendants had taken money – in cash – for an “investment” which never
came to pass, and from which the defendants made significant profits.
Defendants denied the agreement ever existed, but Mr. King was able to
trace bank and financial records and make a showing which proved the monies
were given from one party to the other.
